One of the most important discoveries that I have made since I stopped teaching is the use of the 3 predominant senses (kinaesthetic, visual, auditory) in creating any task at any stage of a unit. There is plenty of research pointing to the effectiveness and high engagement levels when the 3 main senses are being used especially if you don’t know what your students’ learning profile is.
